The weather was nice. We won the 'second match' 4-3. The beer was good.

First innings over and we were doing well, the Comets had 4 runs to our 3.  In the second innings there was a lovely double play by Al, Andy and Kendell and we let the Comets get only three runs.  Then they got us out straight away...  By the end of the 3rd the Comets had 16 runs, we had 4. At this point I lost track of the score.  At the end of the 5th the score was 6 - 25 and the Comets stopped the game.  (On the upside we did improve from last time we played them when I believe the score was 4 -25). However, it was a nice day so we continued to play the last two innings as a friendly and in these two innings we managed to get the respectable score of 4 - 3 to us.
At least it wasnt raining.
